🥾 Hiking group in Luanda
Start a hiking group in LuandaLuanda has about 38 parks within 5 km of the centre, listed on OpenStreetMap: good options for a first meetup.
How to start one
A hiking group gives people a reason to get outside and a safe crowd to do it with. Start with an easy, well-marked trail under two hours that public transport or a short drive can reach, and say clearly how long, how steep and how muddy it is. Pick a meeting point people can find, like a car park or station exit, and set a firm start time. Ask everyone to bring water, sun protection and sturdy shoes, and to let you know if they need to leave early. Walk at the pace of the slowest person and have someone at the back. Share the plan and an expected finish time with someone not on the walk. Once a few regulars appear, rotate who chooses the route.
