💻 How to start a tech & coding group
A tech meetup can be a talk, a show-and-tell or a quiet co-working session. Libraries and community centres often have rooms with power and Wi-Fi. Start small: one short talk or demo, then open discussion or help for people stuck on a problem. Welcome beginners clearly, as many people stay away from tech groups thinking they are not expert enough. Set a code of conduct so everyone feels comfortable. Ask regulars to give lightning talks of five minutes; it spreads the work and builds confidence. Share slides or notes afterwards for those who could not come.
